My story

RicardoJoglar (Ricardo Correa de Sá e Benevides, a long family name) performs music from the Middle Ages to the Shakespearean theater. He has done research on these repertoires, working with medieval neumatic staffs, manuscripts, codici, etc.

Having played live in Brazil, France and UK, Ricardo Joglar has always added his lighting desing and scenery expertise to live performances in order to offer to the audiences a different approach to this music.

Four albuns were produced and released by his Joglar label: Joglar, Éireann, Shakespearean and Gregorian.

Besides his solo career, Ricardo has taught Gregorian Chant to the Benedictine monks from Saint Benedict Monastery in Rio de Janeiro.
